Personal data requested during the order process is gathered and processed in order to meet with the Customer’s expressed demands. Artistocratic guarantees its own customers compliance with data protection law, regulated by the Data Protection Code of the Italian Legislative Decree 196 30/06/2003 and subsequent modifications. The data controller is: Artistocratic S.r.l., Via Santo Stefano 16, 40125 Bologna (BO) - Italy.

Personal data is gathered and processed by Artistocratic for purposes connected with website operations and services, as well as for institutional purposes that are linked and are instrumental to managing Artistocratic activities. More specifically:
a) for purposes connected with law obligations or obligations provided by regulations or by EC standards and provisions enforced by authorities legitimized by law;
b) for purchasing products through a special order form;
c) for dispatching orders;
d) for providing customer services and customer care services;
e) for registering to the website through a registration form in order to provide services and access reserved areas;

Consent for the purposes stated in letter f is optional and failure to provide it does not entail any prejudicial consequences.
In order to ease the data supply, the required mandatory data will be marked with an asterisk (*) in the various sections of the website.

Subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated
In order to fulfil the assumed contractual obligations and execute the services provided, Artistocratic also uses third-party companies to carry out operations strictly linked and instrumental to managing and executing concluded contracts and services provided; the activities include the following:
- Handling customers archives;
- Relations with customers;
- Transport companies and shipping agents for delivering goods and clearing customs;
- Banking institutions for handling collections and payments;
- Fiscal Authorities and other entities to comply with law obligations;
- Companies and law firms to protect rights on contractual relationships;
- Professionals/freelancers to fulfil administrative and accounting obligations;
- Postal services;
-  Subsidiary firms and/or companies forming part of the Group, for purposes of market analysis, marketing and communication.
Data treatment by these subjects is therefore aimed at implementing the instructions received by customers and/or for filing data in electronic systems.
Furthermore, the data may also be disclosed to any subject if required by law.
Rights of the data subject -Article 7 of the Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Right to Access Personal Data and Other Rights)

c) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.
 4. The data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part to the following:
a) the right to oppose the processing of personal data on legitimate grounds, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) the right to oppose the processing of personal data, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for market research or commercial communication surveys.
