A unique and fascinating collection of photographs of Luca Capuano displayed at the exhibition Il paesaggio de/scritto at the Villa D'Este in Tivoli and dedicated to the 44 Italian sites included in UNESCO World Heritage List. The photos made in the course of several months and thousands of kilometers from Alberobello to Pisa, from the Cinque Terre to Venice are able to recount cultural and artistic heritage through a new vision: the sites, to be represented without people and elements of modernity, were mostly photographed outside the hours of affluence such as the early morning, dusk or night. "Timeless" shots that they don't want to place the object as distant and unattainable, made sacred in its significance: Luca Capuano manages to go further and add, with a technical eye, that detail, that sole and almost invisible particularity, transforming this observation into geography of the soul, mixed with live reality, accessible and palpable, a heritage that is represented as a point of visual excellence, but that lives among us.
