Insolera, Mattia
Born in Bologna in 1977.
In 2009 he won the second prize for single pictures in the daily life category of the World Press Photo Award. He has been the photographer of the famous Italian singer Vasco Rossi, following his tours in 2003 and 2004. In 2005 he art directed the photographic book Sfrido (pubblished by Damiani Editore), a project of the Municipality of Bologna. Since 2005 he's represented by Grazia Neri Agency, which whom he pubblished in important magazine worldwide such as: Esquire Mexico, Financial Times, Courrier Intl', Vogue, D la Repubblica delle Donne, Io Donna, Il sole 24 ore, El Periodico. He won the Iceberg prize, promoted by the Municipality of Bologna, the Canon Italia Prize, The Alberobello Portfolio award, the Fnac European "talent latent" award. Since 2007 he's based in Barcelona. In Spain he won the professional scholarship of the Albarracin Seminary and the photography award of the Biennale of Girona. He colaborate regularly with the newspaper El Periodico. Some of his images are conserved by the Nicéphore Niépce Foundation in Chalon-sur-Saône.
